Ok so I'm using this method: http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=698256 I've flashed 2 other liteons before this way with no issues, though it's been a while. With the switch on "off" (normal mode) I was able to read the key in JF just fine. Then I go to write but it just says "Writing Bank 0: ." and doesn't proceed (and of course write verification fails). Now the drive is erased and wont do anything of course, except for intro (which is good because at least it's not bricked).

I've tried doing it with the via6421 drivers disabled and enabled. Tried using different ports on my sata card, even though I've flashed many drives with this port. Tried dosflash32, couldnt get intro to work. Tried "frosty's bootable usb" from xbins, couldnt see the drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

edit: Well I guess it was some stupid driver issue in windows, though I dont understand why considering I've written to liteon drives in windows and I had the driver disabled as usual. I ended up making a bootable usb to use dosflash in dos (bright idea there :), and to my surprise it wrote. First drive i've had that's not been able to write in JF *shrug*
