I'm basically new with everything, just got my 360 a month ago, now it's been flashed i can play backup games, but their are games i can play only at the beginning. Like RE5 and Fallout 3 i can play it for like 5 mins then i'm having an "Cannot read Disk" error.
So what i did is i tried to install the game at 40-50% the "Cannot Read disk" error appears again.
btw i don't have the latest firmware yet for wave 3 games, but wave 1 and 2 are playable.
anyone has an idea of what's causing and how i can fix the "cannot read disk" error?.

Really?, I actually buy back up games, here in our country it's like 40 cents in you convert it to dollar. well if the dvd's are the problem i have no worries. thought there's a problem with my console.

I just got the console a month ago so i think it's the crappy disk.
but there was this instance when my cousin borrowed my console, unfortunately he moved it while playing a game. damaged the disk. could that have damaged the lens?.
