To be fair, there's no link in that thread that refers to making backups of your own games. All there is, is how to make a copy of a copy, not an original.

Ah but all the other required info is there. I only use original discs myself. I won't be featuring in the ban wave threads as a statistic :p

I'm 100% confident, my consoles are unmodded.

'fraid it's true, i only have half a dozen games, and i only ever play GTA 4, i'm not interested in anything else. And i have the pleasure of keeping on top of the ban wave thread, how ironic is that.

Haven't bothered to sign up to live apart from the free 1 month gold membership, tho when i was online i used originals not the backups,if i did go online again i'd use the original 60gb hdd with an original game & use the 120gb hdd for offline play,to be honest i prefer the old PS2 game lobbies where everyone gets to rest & chat for a bit after a session finishes, the games i've played on live don't seem to have that type of lobby setup

first of all, for lobby's. try any cod from modern warfare up till now, and halo 3.
secondly, regarding the link to the front page(saying have two consoles, play on the modded offline and the regular online) if your going to just going to play the original copy, whats the point of making a backup? that's really pointless i think, because all i play is online
