Hi, I am trying to mod a friends Samsung M28 drive that has been modded with ixtreme v1.51 using jungleflasher.

The problem that I am having is every time I try to use the tray half open method, the x-box360 reads that the drive is open so it wont go into vendor mode.

I have modded my stock Sammy without much problem using the activate disk to get into vendor mode but this one just wont go.

This is what I have tried.

1 - Turn on PC
2 - attach sata cable
3 - power up drive using the 360 power supply
4 - press open on the dvd
5 - press close on the dvd
6 - before it closes all the way, unplug power to drive
7 - wait 5-7 sec then plug the power back in
8 - open jungleflasher

jungleflasher reads that there is a drive there but it is not in vendor mode

I have also tried leaving the drive closed, unplugging the power, then manually pushing the drive open...

still nothing.

One thing that seems odd is as soon as I unplug the power to the drive, the 360 is reading the drive as "opening"

Can anyone help?
