I have an xbox that I put the 0800 firmware on (standalone 0800, not ixtreme 1.6). I re-enabled the viamraid.sys and via drivers in device manager. I reboot the system and windows detects both the drive and the via card no problem. I load XBC and it detects the drive showing 7.05gb used which is weird because it usually shows 5mb until you unlock the drive. The start button is also grayed out. I go to drive tools and click "unlock drive" but it says "the drive seems to be unlocked already". I tried clicking on "get region" but it says

The weird thing is it still works just fine with old games but I cannot for the life of me get mw2 to rip. I am using the latest version of both programs from xbins. Please if anyone knows how to get newer games to rip with 0800 mode in XBC let me know!! Thanks in advance

edit: wow, finally figured it out. I had no idea the activation disc also was necessary for reading with 0800 mode! If anyone knows of a 0800 mode fw that can read all waves without the activation disc please let me know.

Have you tried the specific 0800 firmware, IFAIK this should be able to rip it. Dont think LT will have 0800 included as its supposed to be as close to M$ firmware as possible.
