Well like in the title i have posted, i changed out the gpu heatsink and my xbox is so much quieter. if anyone is agervated by noise levels find you a new gpu =]

Can you elaborate? How did changing the heat sink lower noise levels? The heat sink doesn't have any moving parts.

Well, im sorry um the fans idle way lower. haha yes look on ebay like 14 dollars for the heatsinks for the gpu and cpu :)

um from what i can tell from your pics those look like the stock MS Heatsinks from around 2007 time frame what exactyl did you change the one with the heat pipe?

What I'm Trying to stretch out is the new heatsink dramaticly slowed down my fans thus making it quieter.

Yeah, that's what manu was saying. You went from the old version to the new one. Smart move. That'll help your console run a little cooler.

Upgrading your stock fans will help, too. Go with a nice Whisper and match your blue leds.
