was wondering, i used the CK3 to flash my liteon.i tried the eject button but never ejected(wasnt a problem as i just left it in vendor mode the whole time)(half open_)

i am using a choped usb cord spliced with a molex cable.roughly 4.99 volts.
is this going to effect a hitachi flash.
havent flashed one of these yet.looking forward to it though.
also was wondering if there are going to be issues using the 6421 pci card?(like the liteon)

i'd lost the eject button spring out of my CK3 pro before i even used it in anger lol.... serves me right for fiddling with it (mum warned me about it a few time lol) so the eject button sort of free falls of its own accord and i find the drives sporadicly ejecting if i knock the CK3 unit whilst flashing...... PITA !!!!

in answer to your question though, i don't think it will cause you an issue when flashing the hitachi. i've done several of each and the CK3 has never let me down - only operator error. As for the 6421 card that shouldn't be an issue either if it was ok with the lite-on.
