there is a jf manual on the jf website, it has PICTURES in it... i mean, it cannot get easier than that.
leave your xbox as it is, only take out the sata cable on the back of your xbox dvd drive. connect a sata cable to your computer and to the back of your xbox. power up your computer boot windowx, power up your xbox. then run jungleflasher. if you have read the jf manual and seen the pictures, you will be done in 1 minute

Got the JF manual, but one last question,I downloaded LT+ for Hitachi.
I then extracted it and it gives me about 30 different .bin files.should i just copy all of them to JF.
Thank you,

Thank you,
you can copy them over or not, what you like. if you copy them over JF might automatically select the right one.
but, isn't there just only 1 hitachi lt firmware? or is there for each drive revision a lt firmware? i know the original dumps are drive revision specific, but also for lt? if so, flash the one that corresponds to your original drive revision. the revision is on the sticker on your drive
good luck

There is different firmware for each Hitachi revision, there is also stock and modded. You drive will have a firmware revision number on it (such as 48, 78 etc), use the LT firware that is labeled with your specific drive number. Or you can just stick them all in your firmware folder and Jungle flasher should pick the correct one for you.
You may also need a Via 6421A sata card, depending on the chipset your PC is running.

Yes you CAN power the drive with the Xbox, and YES youcan use a normal sata cable.
But if Jungle Flasher still doesn't recognize the Hitachi drive, it is more than likely you will need to purchase a VIA 6421 sata card for your PC. These cards definitely recognize the Xbox 360 drives.
