Computer with no serial adapter?

So my tower didnt come with the Serial Adapter on the motherboard. Would a Serial Adapter to USB work? Just wanted to make sure that it did before i went ahead and ordered one.

Yes, Serial to USB adapter will work. You will need a driver for it though. There should be a driver disc supplied with the adapter.
