Computer won't detect Benq DVDRom :(

Hey guys.. Newbie to the mod scene here..
I've been following the Jungle Flasher guide and I believe that is the method I am going to be using to flash my drive.
I've got the 360 all opened up and have my dvdrom connected it to my primary Sata port on my motherboard.
I power on my computer and power on my 360.. However I can't seem to get my computer nor jungle flasher to detect the drive.

My mother board is an Asus K8V SE Deluxe.
DVDRom drive is Benq.
HW version: J-DA1A4
FW version: 64930C

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

read through leerage's tutorial. and if that doesnt work, then you're going to have to buy the PCI card that is necessary to flash the drive.
