How do you tell the difference between liteon 833850c V1 and V2 drives? Was V2 made after August 2009?

i heard once that v2 was made in september, but i'm not sure about that, the only way to tell for sure is put it in JF and start trying to flash it. if it turns out to be v1 it will flash very easily, if not you will have to do the mra method.

I figured it out. 83 drives with model number 16D2S-09C are V2 drives and model 16D2S with no 09C are version 1
