Hi, I just bought a new Xbox 360 without Harddrive I have one 120GB from my Banned with loads of purchased songs.
Can I used this HD with booths Consoles?
or I had to reformat it to used it with the new Console?

DO NOT Throw it Away and DO NOT Format your HDD
DO NOT Recover your profile...
Terrible advice guys.
Go to Google and Type "How to Uncorrupt/Flag Profiles and Gamesaves after Ban.. Worked for me perfect you just need a Transfer cord off Ebay for $5.00.
Beast SON!!!

Actually, if he hasn't used any of the saves since being banned, it will be far easier for him to simply delete and then recover the profile from Live. This will make the entire thing $5 cheaper.

Unless he wants a 0 Gamerscore.... it's still better then to just "Throw it away"

You are sort of on the right track with the while rocovery. What you need to do is put the hdd on your new console and reformat it with the new console. Don't worry about losing anything purchased because microsoft will let you re download them. Your gamesaves will be gone so I would suggest you hook that hdd to your pc and follow some tut on how to pull those gamesaves and then put them back on your hdd after you reformat.

Throw it away was an obvious joke. Also, his gamerscore is saved on the MS servers, so even throwing away the HD wouldn't cause him to lose that. The only thing he might lose are achievements he has gained since the ban, if any.
You guys giving "serious" advice should really make sure you know what you're talking about though. Reformatting the drive? Not necessary unless he's been continuing to use the saves on the banned console. So long as he hasn't, he can simply delete his profile on the banned console, then connect the drive to the new one, recover his profile, and begin using all his content as if nothing happened.

None of this is necessary. If he is going to hook it to the PC, he can simply unflag the saves. None of this deletion or reformatting is necessary at all. Noobs need to stop giving incorrect advice.
