yes, I agree we need to revive all these old threads in such a manner so we can get the word out completey about how playing on-line with back ups has changed and what one must do to keep playing such titles as Cysis 2 moving forward into 2012.

Crysis 2 like all future title releases will be eventually be AP25, this is not a prediction this is a fact and even NON-AP25 games will suffer until C4eva releases new firmware on a montly basis (HE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT). He has stated he will NOT be able to do this if these AP25 tables keep changing every 30-60 days. MS is going to change them monthly if not weekly, perhaps some day daily. In fact he seems overwhelemed but this whole affair and has lost a great deal of support.

The trick is to be a visionary and plan ahead. This can only come thru hard work and reading everything in the forums that is made public. A little IQ helps too.

Start reading up on EMULATED DVD optical drives technique:

That is going to be a new response to circumvent AP25, but it too has risks (i,e ban hammer) but at least you wil be able to play all the games even if they change the AP25 tables daily.

C4eva should stop wasting his time with montgly firmware fixes and start building emulated DVD optical code that is already immune to the AP25 checks in the first place.

This would be my first priority, and many wonder why he is not already looking into this as an alternative to his hacked firmware for 2012-1013.
