sports: Madden 10, Mlb Bigs 2 (become a legend mode)
action rpg: Fallout 3 , Bioshock,
I also heard batman was pretty good.

I can't believe it took 28 posts till Fallout 3 was mentioned...

@lofro - How much you wanna bet the only redeeming quality of Darkest Days is the amount of characters on screen at a time? It doesn't look like anything special to me, but I could be wrong...

Did you guys play anymore than 2 hours of Fallout 3. Most people i know who hate Fallout 3 barely even played it. They say, "Man, Fallout 3 sucks!" and i ask them how long did they play and they say,"I dunno, not too long, no more than an hour" lol, you gotta play the game for a while to get used to the system and get a feeling for it. But hey, thats their opinion if they think the game sucks. The critical acclaims it has recieved speaks for itself though ;)

Oh yeah Fallout 3 really is one of the best games for the 360, PS3, PC. The vast amount of things you can do is really captivating just like Oblivion. I'm planning to play FO3 again once a disc comes out with all of the DLC added in.

Section 8: is pretty badass. Only have played a bit of the game, just got it a few days ago. But from what I could tell.. it has very good potential to be an amazing fps. If you like Battlefield then I'm sure you will like section 8, especially if you are a scifi fan.
BF1943: for an arcade game its pretty win. Brings back good memory's :o
Wolfenstein: multiplayer is kinda meh.
Fallout 3 and Oblivion will always be up thar on the list.
GTA is fail, imho.

Theres the Fallout 3 Broken Steel and Point Lookout, which came out 9 days ago, all i know is that i ran that bit** thru abgx (everything passed) and im gonna fire it up very soon ;) That radio station on Fallout 3 with the Madd Dogg guy has to be the funniest sh** ever, plus great oldies on there!

This isn't directed at anyone in particular, but seriously? Wow. It's a friggin' RPG, made by the same people that made oblivion. How in any sense could you actually pop it in and expect instant explosions and gunfire? If you know something isn't a pure FPS, yet you put it in and still expect an FPS whose to blame?

If you are looking for something different try "Tales of Vesperia"
It is a real time RPG. Download the demo on xbox live first. It is one of those things that you will like or you don't.

Don't know if you guys already said it but the multiplayer for Red faction is sick in my opinion. I love all the backpacks, they add a great tactical element to any multiplayer match type.
also sold my soul to bungie a long time ago

Fallout 3 is not a turn it on and 1 second later explosions and gunfire FPS but it still is a FPS nonetheless. In my defense i never expected instant madness once i popped in Fallout3, to be honest i like substance when it comes to storylines in games i play.
ALso, as WJ99 stated this isnt a, "Current Best FPS" post anyways. ;)
