Dead Benq Drive

OK so this sounds a little redundant from all the research I have done but I have a 360 benq drive that wont flash and now wont work. The situation is...the drive had and older firmware update...not sure which and I wanted to update to iextreme 16. I have done this before on a unflashed benq and worked fine. I not entirely sure what I have done step-by-step to get to where I am at now but ill tell you whats happening.

1. Xbox wont open drive.
2. when pluged into my comp and opening Jungleflasher I get Vendor: PBDS... and below it NAME: VAD6038-64930c
3. When I click into/device ID it askes me to do the turn off and turn on which I do but my computer starts to freeze up every 10 seconds just to unfreeze 10 seconds later...so on and so on.

To be honest Im not really sure what to do at this point...
Any step by step help would be great...
I have deleted the viaraid file ....

This is what happens

Sending Vendor Intro to port 0xDD60
Status 0xD0
Re-sending Vendor Intro:
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Device Intro failed!

While the dots are going and the xbox is on it freezes constantly.

Any help would be great...thanks

Are you using a via card or straight from the mobo?

If card you need to uninstall the Via drivers then install xbox 360 I/O device driver..

Unless the Benq Drive has Stock firmware on it, or Ixtreme 1.4 or less. you have to intro the drive with the drive half open to get it into vendor mode,

read the jungleflasher tut. its got it all in there;

Yes I did uninstall the Via drivers and I do have the xbox 360 I/O device driver installed.

And I was doing all this with the drive half open but now after attempting to flash the drive...the drive doesn't open at all and the front light just blinks when I try.
