Well I have a bunch of Xbox's laying around, the problem is I f'ed up and took out all the dvd drives thinking i would never fix them. They were all red ring consoles and I finally got my rework station and was able to fix most of them. All of them are exploited since they havent been working in forever. I already JTagged 2 of them and I have the DVD keys.
The problem is I do not know what type of drives these originally had. Is there any way to find out this information from the DVD key itself or the dumped NAND? I would really like to either replace them with the same ones as original or spoof them. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Not a noob, just can't find this information anywhere...

Once you have dumped your nand, open it in XBOX 360 flash tool and enter your CPU key. This will then display both your DVD key and you Original drive.
