i am getting an xbox 360 payed $20 for it thought i would fix it, so i have a question before it gets here, was wondering if the rrod can cause the disc tray to not open. see it is currently suffering from rrod and they said the disc tray wont open either and thats what i was wondering is that if the rrod can cause that or is that belt in the dvd drive going to be the culprit. thanks for any info

RROD wouldnt be the cause of the DVD tray not opening, there are many cause including....

Bricked Drive
Drive with no firmware
Broken / melted eject button
Drive unplugged

The list goes on.
