Two friends both got the "Disc type not recognized" error message, under different cicumstances.

Problem #1:
A friend of mine took his 360 apart.
Mailed the drive to me.
I flashed T+1.91 to it.
Mailed it back.
He put it back together.
All of his games work other than one of his Kinect games (can't remember which one, but it is a sports title).
He gets the message "Disc type not recognized".
Is this an issue with 1.91 vs Kinect titles, or do you think the game is just coincidentally bad since it's a Memorex DVD+R DL? (the last question is not meant to start a media debate).
There is no other modded console for him to test it on.

Problem #2:
Another friend got the same "Disc type not recognized" error message with Kinectimals after updating her dash to 13599. She's got LT+ 1.9 on her Lite-On. She hasn't sent the drive to me yet for an LT+1.91 update.
As far as I know, when the new Dash update was sent out, it flashed the drives back to stock firmware. I updated a banned 360 I gave to my nephew, and his backups no longer work. I forgot that the new update does that.
Other then that, for his Kinect game not working, I would probably think it's the media he used. With my experience with backups on Memorex, is that they usually only last about a month.

LOL, you again? What in the world are you talking about. If all games boot, the dash update isn't the issue. I have to agree on the media issue though. My kinect games are working fine on my PHAT console. Slim perhaps?
