Ok I downloaded Halo 3 for the xbox 360 and burned it on a memorex dl dvd using imgburn. The game runs fine no problems. I just got done downloading GTA 4 and it will not read the cd for the whole game. Sometimes it starts up and plays for a little and sometimes it goes to the first screen and freezes. So I decided to try and download it to my harddrive. After about 15 mins of waiting for it to install onto my hard drive the game works fine now no problems. Here is my question: Why do I have to install it to my hard drive for it to work? Why will Halo 3 work with just the cd and I need to install GTA 4 on to my hard drive? I just find this strange that one game will work (same dl dvd, same site, and both used imgburn) and the other is giving me problems.

Hi the reason no-one has responded is because this question has been asked and answered many times. The quality of the discs on the memorex spindle varies greatly, to the extend some discs will work and some will not from the same batch. Thats why you shouldn't buy them.
