Hi if i but an original dj hero from the shop will it work on a chipped console, I ask because my friend phone game and asked this question and they said the latest games will not work on chipped consoles, is this true?

Can't tell you about chipped consoles, I can only speak on flashed consoles. As far as "the latest games" not working, DJ Hero works on mine, as does Assassin's Creed II, Modern Warfare 2, Tekken 6, Left for Dead 2, etc. And these are as "late" as it gets.

this forum knows almost nothing about modded chips so this question is falling on deaf ears. You will prob need to update your modchip with either a firmware update and/or new chip
