Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is any way to get free DLC on a banned xbox 360 (i know where to download it) if the system is not jtagged? I know I can get it if it comes out on disc because then i just need to burn a backup. Is there any way of getting it without a jtag process?
Actually this may be possible but it may take some playing with. If you take the DLC from a friend then it am almost certain it will work. DLC is profile specific but not console specific. However you can't simply change the tags around to do this. If people have banned boxes that are not Jtags then this can apply to them.
Take the tag of a friend off of his box and simply take the DLC with it. This would work if you had a copy of their HDD too. You can then just change the name of the tag and it should work like a charm to play this DLC. Now as for Downloading it there you would also need the perfect copy of their Profile. I have a friend of mine testing this in the next couple of minutes. I copied Saints Row2 DLC over to his xbox and just want to see if it works by simply crating a tag with the same name. (doubt but worth shot) also will try few more things.
So jpizzle you say not possible i say it is with certain stipulations him being banned makes it perfect for the simple trick here

Ok if you take an exact copy of his HDD OR put your HDD on his box and let him recover his tag over (which would be best) and simply never let that xbox touch XLB again (which is not an issue YOUR BANNED) and you can play any DLC he has. As for sites with DLC they should include copies of their profiles so that the banned (or unbanned if you don't use live)public can play DLC at free will. just name each profile with the DLC it is for. you get to play the DLC for free just must use different profiles. You can sign into the COPIED profile that has the DLC you want to play on your original tag just sign back out and sign into your tag to play away.

No the dlc you are talking about (you know where you can download) is unsigned and your console needs to be jtagged in order to use it, non jtag consoles cannot read unsigned code.

No the dlc you are talking about (you know where you can download) is unsigned and your console needs to be jtagged in order to use it, non jtag consoles cannot read unsigned code.
My method works well actually. as for unsigned code it will not work
I wasn't disputing your method, the only flaw is you would need hundreds of profiles in order for that to work with any dlc uploaded by the public, i suppose it's ok if you have a few friends who are willing to share their dlc.
It's also a good idea if you're banned and you have a friend with an online xbox 360 for you to pay for the m$ points to buy the dlc/xbla that you want/need.
On a side note i would like to think there are hackers actually working on a work around for non jtag consoles ;)

Tbf i haven't seen anyone giving you flak for trying, i've seen people giving you flak for not accepting answers that you are given lol
All you have to remember is there is always a backdoor into something and everything can be hacked even the unhackable ps3 got hacked (but the hacker opened his mouth to soon)
I think the first person that does find a way around dlc on non jtagged consoles will be just as famous as c4 and the others ;)
I am somewhat new to some of this so i got to ask questions and nothing can be done till you try. There is some way some how but for now people give flak for it and ya know what i know there is something just got to try. The DLC is hard due to the signed part maybe we can find a way to change it to our profile. Maybe it has codes just like saves which i think is completly possible but need to get deeper into it
