I just bought a backup of need for speed shift from online. I ran it through abgx and all crc's are matching apart from DMI is unverified / anyDVD style corruption was not detected game crc = 108088f9 <matches> and verification failed. Should i rip the game and burn to be safe or will i still be safe with this copy??

Its typically no big deal but you can try using autofix...just change the autofix setting and it will try and change the DMI to a verified one if there is one available on their servers.

Basically all "DMI not verified" means is that that specific rip hasn't been uploaded to abgx.

abgx360 will not fis a disk because a disk is read only. You would have to rip that disk to your hard drive to be able to fix the DMI.

DMI not verified means that the copy of the game you have was ripped from a different copy then the one in the database. Usually different factories etc.. This is normal.

Do not autofix your game with the one in the database though. That could cause an issue of getting banned.
If you trust your source, your fine.

The DMI is now scanned for corruption before being accepted into the Data Base, so patching with the DMI from the Data Base shouldn't be an issue.
