Dos Flash Help Please

I am attempting to flash an erased liteon with dos flash. i keep receiving 0x52 code and the drive will not change regardless of the times that i power cycle it. Any advice?

thats the guide i have been attempting to follow. when i attempt to write it returns an unknown flash chip.

yes. it is a liteon 74850c. i have already extracted the dummy and have placed that on the usb drive. jungleflasher froze during write process.

well crap. do you have all the other hard drives and dvd/cd drives unplugged when you in dos?

yeah i unplug everything. all drives/hardrives. keep returning a 0x52

ok
1) you are supposed to put your hacked FW on the USB not your dummy.bin
2) try powering the drive on just as you start dosflash

sorry. yeah i already have lt loaded with my key on the usb. i just phrased it incorrectly. and i just attempted to turn on the drive after dosflash had been started and the begging return was 0x80 then after power cycling switched between 0x52 and 0xd2.

keep playing with power cycling, thats the only advise i can give you at this point

i know when i use dosflash, i have to power on/off while the pc is booting up, and as its booting into dosflash itself. its worth a shot, but idk if it will work.
oh, something that hasnt been asked yet. are you using onboard sata or pci card?

via 6421 chipset with drivers removed. i have modded multiple boxes but any advice i can get will be extremely helpful. and i will attempt to power cycle while pc turning on :) and thank you guys for all the quick responses

when it says mtk vendor intro failed. choose to resend command and then power cycle. what command should i receive before i continue?

so the command wouldnt change from 0x52 so for whatever reason i decided to attempt just a normal flash from jungle flasher. and it worked. all i did was resend the erase command and after power cycling just like i normally would the drive was recognized even though it was never recognized in flasher before the command was sent. anyways. the drive didnt freeze this time and i am up and running. thanks for all the help guys!
