Okay, first thing i do in dos is l-o-erase until i get ff72 then i type dosflash, and then choose my drive #, then i type W for write, then it comes up and says "Unknown flash chip". no matter what i do i cant seem to get past this. i read other posts about this and tryed what it said but it still doesn't do it. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

you were a little vague as to were you were gettin stuck so here's the whole process

when you get your status right after erase (ff72) turn of your drive then type in dosflash then it will scan for your drive resend command and then power on your drive select your drive number it will then give you options select e to erase it will then erase when it goes back to c:\> turn the pwer off and then type in dosflash again hit ent then resend command you should get 0x80 power on it will change to 0x72 then select your drive no and hit ent select w and ent your file (eg litcfw.bin or lite_cfw.bin) not sure how you would have it named hit ent it will check the eras flash all 4 banks thats it back to c:\> your done

ur the man evo, the drive has been successfully flashed now thanks to you. my problem was i wasnt turning the drive off after certain steps like i was supposed to. Thanks man.
