Hi,
About a year ago I had someone flash my liteon.
It was the firmware version just before the LT+ came out.
I was looking to get the latest version on my console, but the guy who flashed it didn?t write down or give me the drive key.
I emailed him a while back and he said that he should be able to retrieve it from the database of the flashing app....is this right?

Basically I wanted to have a go at doing this myself but he isn?t responding to emails so I don?t know if I am going to be able to get the key now.

Am I screwed?

as much as the systems are updating you would be better off to get yourself a usbpro and probe 3 and do it yourself, you will be able to get your key and flash it yourself by following the JF tutorial.

Or a lizard which I think is better. No extra parts needed. Plus you can do all drives including drilling slims :)

A tool you can use to flash any drive. vgcrepairs has them.
