Hi,

first is it possible to dump the key and flash ia liteon 83850c
A0A2?

if so:
do i use the probe to extract the key and at what pin on the pcb board?
or do i use LO83 and openkey?
please let me know because i have tired both and am getting bad dumps

I have just heard in another forum there is a new version of the 83850c drive that cannot be flashed at the moment. I have been trolling here to see what I can find, but so far nothing.

What is the manufacture date of the Lite-ON? From the way it looks now, any Lite-ON from August on up is not able to have the DVDkey dumped.
