ive bought a pack of 50 dual layer disks 8x they are completey white all over including the inner center (if u know what i mean),when ive burnt games on them and try to play in my 360 which is on 1.4 ixtreme they dont work.but when i burn games on these other dual layers ive bought in the past they are white disks that have the see through inner centre, they are fine and work,i dont want to have them stuck in the cupboard after paying for them. any ideas anyone? i know vertiber work coz ive bought a few of them before. maybe the disks are heavyer or sumot ? i dont know

Verbatim are the best no doubt, I suppose the easiest way to test if these discs are deffinatly no good would be to burn an iso you already have burnt on a Verbatim, if it still doesnt work then its deffinatly the disc's. You should also upgrade your firmware 1.4 is old whatever drive you have, if its hitachi then you need 1.51, samsung 1.61, benq or liteon ixtreme LT.
It could just be that you are burning game waves that arent supported by the 1.4, try loading the disc in to your PC or DVD player and if you get the message saying this is an xbox 360 disc, its probably your firmware.
Just my thoughts for what their worth, which isn't much.
thanx for your answer but ive burnt the iso on to verbatim and they work with no probs,iam happy beening on 1.4 ixtreme ive had no problems with it online/or offline ,and all new games i patch to wave 2-3 so is all good

Then its your discs, they are no good, logic prevails again. Or put another way "simples".
