DVD tray wont eject properly

I have a bit of a problem with the dvd tray of my xbox 360. Its a BenQ, normally you click the button and will eject. Whereas mine now you have to press hold for a few seconds or so to eject. Its not a huge deal but would like to fix it. Any ideas why its doing this?

Clean the belt with warm soapy water (little black rubberband). Plenty of tutorials on youtube. That's usually the most common problem with finicky drive trays.
