E74 fixed then got it back again, help pls

I was trying to fix a E74 for my friend And I clean both sinks bc it never been open so why not put new silver5 on both right, so I got it fix for a few by pushing down the tall sink but then when I change paste ect and put the screws back and original x-clamp it got E74 again. I did both chips and cooked the chips for like 15min each and push down and ect. anything else I can do? ty guys

Easy
Replace x-clamp with m5 screws and #10 flat nylon washers. X-clamp is what causes your flexing which breaks the solder. Then reflow with heatgun to actually get the solder to make a proper connection. Overheating your system by taking hte fans off or putting it on the cpu or whatever isnt hot enough to melt the solder back into place

well e74 is related to the HANA/GPU so I suppose you could just do the GPU side if you want but I always do both sides while i'm in there. The xclamps are just a faulty design and put too much stress on the motherboard.
