hello,
I have googled and found this thread (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/585026 ) Has anyone successfully replaced/repaired the eject button on the motherboard? May I have the links of the tutorial to fix it?

The controller's function on ejecting the disc tray is working fine but not manual ejecting.Occasionally,it takes a few attempts to eject.It's only a week old.Does Jasper still have this problem?If not, I think I am being duped. :(

Has the system been taken apart?

If you don't get the case on just right you can have eject problems.

yea i have never heard of an eject button dying, either u broke the little T shape the eject button looks like or the dvd tray is messed up. Also the case not be on properly.the eject button just puts slight pressure on this little black circle that gets pushed in the a socket that sends info through the mobo to the dvd drive to open it, so i doubt that button is broke.
