I've read online about putting the games on xbox 360 hdd, but can't I use my External HDD to hold all the games instead?

What I mean is using the xecuter nandx and xecuter coolrunner to jtag the Xbox so I can run my backups on an external. Can you direct me to a guide that will show me how to set up an external?

like i said in my first post. YOU CANNOT PLAY GAMES ON AN RGE CONSOLE. IT CAN ONLY ACCESS XELLOUS AND PLAY A SELECT FEW EMULATORS.

We aren't able to run games yet, but it should be no different than JTAG. On my JTAGs I used a 2TB Seagate and a 1TB Western Digital with no issues.

So are you saying sometime in the coming months games will be able to run off external HDD? If so, how long do you think this could potentially be?

Nobody knows. The guys who make this stuff do it in their spare time, and the rest of us just have to be patient and wait, and appreciate the work once it's done.

What about the X360 Key. Is this a good product? Will it always be able to play new 360 games or will I have firmware updates in the future for it that will counter Microsoft updates?
