Falcon chipset, Jasper chipset compatible DVD drive?

I have a a falcon chipset 360 with the latest firmware to play my backed up games. I wanted to get a new 360 with the Jasper chipset since it looks like my older 360 may crash soon. If I was to replace the reflashed drive that I have with the new drive in the Jasper 360, will my Jasper chipset 360 be compatible with that DVD drive and ultimately let me keep playing my backed up games?

you will have to reflasht he drive with the jaspers dvd drive key. other than that, the jasper wont give two shits what drive it has in it.
