few questions about re-flashing liteon drive??

Hi, just need a little help, can i power my xbox360 liteon drive straight from my pc?? and when it says 'After pressing yes and during the sequence of dots shown below, switch drive Power Off then
On - ONCE.' to erase the drive what is the best way of doing this?

Yes you can power your lite on from your PC whilst you flash. What you need to so when you get the dots it unplug the power connector from the drive and reconnect it as fast as you can.

thanks, so the power cord coming from liteon drive shold also connect to pc fine? i have read this is the stage to brick my drive is that correct?

Apologies, just re-read what you wrote. You can only power your drive from your PC if you have a CK3 kit.
If you dont have one, use your xbox to power the drive.

ok thanks, but if powering from xbox360 do i need the av cable plugged in(ive read it turns off otherwise)but not in tv and just unplug power from back of drive?

If you have a non HDMI console then always keep the AV lead plugged in, it will go in to power save mode otherwise halfway through your flash
If you have a HDMI port on your XBOX, you do not need the AV lead in.

thanks, my console has a HDMI slot but the jungleflasher.pdf file also states The HDMI cable can be used instead
but it MUST BE connected to the TV!

AFAIK, you dont need to connect the HDMI cable at all. If jungle flash is saying do it then do it. Im pretty sure you dont need it though, but it wont cause any harm to flash it with your HDMI connected.

hi thanks very much for your help, xbox still powers down with the hdmi slot, so ive decided to connect pc to my tv so i dont have to mess about trying to disconnect all the hd leads(tv on wall so difficult to remove)also my pc has a ATA/ATAPI CONTROLLER using a VIA BUS MASTER IDE CONTROLLER containing 3 drivers, do i need to delete all 3 of these

Not sure what you mean by this, take a look at leerages guide. It tells you exaclty what you need to do.
