firmware 1.4 - no XBL - new games

Hi,

I have a 1.4 ixtreme firmware, i never play online, can i use ABGX to fix newer games to play offline with this firmware. If not, wich kind of game will not play. Is it because of wave ? Can you explain ?

yep, you gotta get newer firwmare iXtreme ,, in order to play newer wave games.

ver 1.4 is at least 2 years old ..

Thanks for your response

However, my drive is a samsung, so not affected by the ap2.5. Also, i have a very old dash (before kinnect). So, with this information, i tought i have read that i could play newer game even with ixtreme 1.4 with downgrading wave number or something. I can't upgrade my firware because i have 0 skill for that. So, could you assure me (or someone else) that I 100% sure can't play newer games with the information i gave. Also, an explanation why would be helpful for me.
