Firmware doesnt read every time i power down my xbox

Hey guys joined the sight after months of trolling and getting a ton of useful info. (THX btw) Anyway i have been modding firmware on a couple different xboxs so we can read our back-up games, and i have done 3 different benq drives and they have all been successfull except for one. The one giving me the problem looses the capability to read any disc everytime i power down the xbox after powering it on for the first time. If i leave the xbox running, no matter how long it is on it will continously read discs but as soon as it looses power once it is done. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I use jungleflasher 1.67 and an maximus extractor tool if that helps
