Supose i have a modded xbox and a new microsoft fimware comes out?

Can i update my firmware? Also must I or should I do the update?

If soo what are the reasons?

yes you can update and yes you should update the new firmwares help to prevent you getting banned from xbox live with updated firmware and running your games through abgx is as safe as you can get

Aki09 is correct. You can update the XBOX 360 from Microsoft. Normally when a Microsoft update comes out the info will be posted here and whether it is safe or not.

If Microsoft comes out with some kind of new video wave partition (like we just seen back in March 090, iXtreme will need to be updated and you will have to re-flash your drive with new iXtreme firmware.
