Can the E74 error be fixed by applying the X clamp fix?

Not usually, because E74 is more related to the Hana/Ana chip, not the GPU. A reflow can fix it. Xclamp fix is a joke anyway.

Actually it's the gpu's connection to the hana/ana chip because the ana chip on the xexon motherboards aren't bga chips. I've found that longer, hotter reflows with flux for just the gpu solve all e74 errors. It's pretty sad so many are misinformed.

You're better off paying someone to reflow it for you.
