flash a Hitatchi version 0046DG drive on the xbox 360?

Is it possible to flash a Hitatchi version 0046DG drive on the xbox 360?

I have tried using the slax 2 disk and the bios in my motherboard recognizes the drive but then it says its not recognized when I use the disk. Do I need the connectivity kit? any other suggestions I have read the few posts on other sites about this but I am not sure what to do now because I thought I had everything ready.

If possible can you provide details or a link to a tutorial or something for this specific version. THANKS!! I'd really like to get this done correctly

I've always used Jungle Flasher to mod the fw on any drive that i've come across. I find it heaps easier than fw toolbox etc..... Your 46DG should be a breeze as long as you follow the tutorial links "pre read everything twice :) and do once" is my motto

Sorry I forgot to mention although the connectivity kit is handy, it's not essential for this drive

thanks for the reply i have jungleflasherd ownloaded on my computer but im not sure how to get my system to recognize the drive. I dont see it in my computer but it recognizes all my other drives both sata and ide. I am running a sata dvd drive and harddrive to my motherboard and i have like 4 more sata ports left. another thing is i am not sure if my drive is in mode b or not or even if i needed to use the slax 2 disk.
