my pc only has ide connections, no sata. can I buy a pci card to flash? will this one work? pci sata card

if not, what do i need? also even if that is what i need, do I need a better one?

I am fairly positive that is the PCI card that you need. You might want to get a second opinion from someone else on here though before you buy it.

ok. so all I would need is that and a sata cable to flash, well and the firmware, and a dvdr DL burner to make games, right?

Yes. And also a "connectivity kit" would be useful if your Xbox's drive is a Lite-On.

No, it depends on what disc drive your 360 has.

Here is a quick picture:

If yours looks like the one on the far right you will have to take off the faceplate and check in the little hole right under where the xbox 360 logo is on the disc drive with a flashlight and see what color cable you see. If it is white it is a toshiba if it is yellow it is a samsung IIRC.

Leerage has a better picture and explanation somewhere.
