Flashed a benq wont read disk

Hi everybody I hope someone can help me with this i flashed my brothers 360 a few months ago with LT. Today i was upgrading to LT+. I flashed the drive (beng)with no problems. i hooked everything back up. i put in a back-up game and it didnt play i put in a original and it did the same thing it just said open tray.

I did a reflash thinking maybe i missed something but i didnt i follwed JF tuturial word for word and every thing went just like it was supposed to. I put a back up in and it did the same thing. Normally when i put a game in i can hear the drive start up but this time it sounds like it starts to run then it stops.

I checked the JF faq but i couldnt find anything. i did some googling but the lite-on drives kept coming up with bad lasers. So far as the benq drive i couldnt find anything if anybody has any suggestion on how to fix this i would appricate it

sounds like a laser problem, i would try to clean the laser and see if it helps.

Thanks peluynati for you help so you think i should clean my laser, ok ill look up the best way to do it. If you have any other suggestions ill be more than happy to hear them thanks again

if that fails might need a new laser easy to replace

Problem solved guys i went to youtube, watched a video on how to clean the laser lens. I cleaned my laser lens and it worked fine. Thanks peluynati and infamOus for your help,you guys saved me from buying a new drive.
