Flashing a new Xbox DVD drive help ?

Hi, noob here.
Sorry if this is a recurring post or has Been asked before.

My sons Xbox 360 had the 'open tray' error and after a successful attempt at fixing it, has reappeared.
So I have bought a new one (Phillips Lite on).
BUT when a game is inserted, it comes up 'play DVD' !
From reading other posts I see I need to Flash the new DVD to match the old one. How do I do this ?
As I said, I'm a noob, that has a basic understanding of what needs doing but need guidance.
Any advice would be grateful.
If you need any other info to aid you, please ask

i hope that your old drive is a liteon as well, now what you need to do is google Jungle Flaser, look inside, there is a folder called documentation, look in that folder and there is a pdf that explains step by step for every drive, good luck!
