hi I am a bit of a noob here, and just have a few questions. I have my friends lite on drive w/ Iextreme 1.6/1.5. He wants me to update it to LT+, I double checked on jungle flasher, but there no button for a lite on drive w/ iextreme firmware for a fat xbox. I have done firmware flashes before, so my question is can I just flash over the current firmware? if not what do I do , keep in mind my friend does not have the original firmware or key. Is there any way to flash this drive w/o soldering? Thanks in advance.

wait a few days until the new firmware (lt+ 2.0) comes out, then use the jungleflasher.pdf tutorial link. You'll have to dump the drive then flash to stock and then update to the latest firmware.

Read both PDFs and they should reach you how to upgrade to firmware to LT+1.1. The same method of upgrade is going to be the same when LT+2.0 comes out

Okay so where can I get the stock firmware ? xbins? Why can't I just upgrade or overwrite the current firmware?
