Flashing liteon drive with laptop

Any reason why i cant flash my liteon drive to the new lite touch firmware? My laptop has an express slot 54 so what sort of adapter would i need to buy? if someone could sort me out with a link that would be awesome!

My xbox360 currently has ixtreme 1.61, would i need to flash it back to stock and then flash to lite touch?

I dont think it will work sorry. You probably have a incompatable chipset on your lappy. Im not 100% on this, maybe someone who has tried this can comment?
