i have a broken hitachi gdr3 59dj 360 drive. i backed up the key on my comp. but it does not read any discs i put in the drive. i ordered a new one some time ago and im not sure what guide i followed but it only read dvd movies. So for the past few months iv just been using it to stream movies to and took the drive out.

Is it possible to flash the new drive with a custom firmware and not have to extract the original key to the drive.
