I just recently got my xbox 360 flashed to lt+ by a local shop. I have my original drive keys saved on a thumb drive on my xbox. I want to update my xbox to lt+1.1, but I dont have a probe. I heard it can be done by powering the drive with your console but it is very hard but can be done. I also heard that if you power your xbox without the dvd drive plugged in you the xbox will log the error code and send it to microsoft the next time you sign into live and will be flagged for a ban? can anyone provide any insight if this is true or not?

you dont need a probe if you have your key already. also its true about powering on the xbox without the drive connected.go to jungleflasher.net and download the guide to flashing and read it. also you will need a via 6421 sata card to flash.then all you do is open your origianl firmware file that you have on your thumb drive with jungleflasher,load lt+1.1 as the target firmware,spoof source to target,open the mtk tab,press liteon erase,power off and on the drive once,drive is then in vendor mode then write new firmware,when firmware is written press the outro button and your done.not a job for noobs but easy enough for us pros. :)
