flashing xbox360 benq drive help..

ok, so ive opened my xbox360 up..
turns out I have a VAD6038 Benq,phils drive.
Now heres the problem, I need to make sure that my laptop e-sata port is going to pick up the benq drive.

i have a Inetel ICH9M-E/M e-SATA port in my laptop.

im guna buy this cable from ebay in order to connect.

What OS do you have installed and is it 64bit or 32bit?

If you have a 32bit system, I would recommend installing Jungle Flasher. You will need to install PortIO also.

If you have a 64bit system, I would use DosFlash64 version 1.8.

yeh 32 bit, dude i need to know if the esta to sata and the ich9 will work..never mind the flashing yet.

Well, I can't give you an answer for that because I don't have a laptop with ICH9 and an E-SATA port. Maybe somebody who does can tell you whether it works or not. It was a suggestion I made in the other thread you posted in. Reason I said try that is because I know success stories of desktops using ICH9.
