Hi guys, I was trying to make a new NAND for my Jtag 360 (Jasper 16MB Motherboard). So I use Flash 360 to make a NAND backup, I then run it through Freeboot Toolbox 2.5 and at 38% I get an error saying that the NAND could not be extracted. I did this 5 times and verified that the CPU key was correct. It still did not work, so I ran it in debug mode and it said I was missing sysupdate.xexp1. I then ran the NAND through easy Freeboot 0.04 and the same problem, so I then use donor files and my CPU key and the NAND was made. What I want to know is if I am safe to flash this NAND to my 360 or will I get an e74 error. Any assistance is much appreciated.

I had the exact same problem yesterday. DON'T use the donor files, as I bricked one the day before yesterday doing it that way. If you have the time and patience, the best thing to do is read your nand via LPT. I know, I didn't feel like re-soldering those dang wires back on there again, but I got a good dump with no errors or bad blocks. I then extracted the kv and config, and injected them into xbr (downgraded from 9199). Then, I wrote xbr to the nand via LPT. After it was done I tested it, and it worked just fine so I used the CPU key and Best Pig Freeboot to make the 12611 image from xbr. This time it had the updated sysupdate.xexp1 and all went well. I used flash360 and flashed the updflash.bin to my console. It worked without any hiccups. It's a lot of work, but if it saves your JTAG, it's worth it!

easier thing is to boot into XeLL and then put the IP into your address bar on your browser, you will then have the option to download important files directly from your JTAG. Also copy and paste your CPU to make sure it is correct.

Thanks jpizzle. Tried that though and it didn't work, same problem. Also I don't a have a LPT cable as I bought my JTAGed box. I was going to JTAG myself but couldn't find a JTAGable console.
