installed freestyle2.0 rc1.7 and dashlaunch2.08 for 12611, freestyle boots up fine and works as expected, but I cannot get freestyle to launch from games using quickboot (the freestyle icon via quickboot shows up, just boots back to retail dash when it restarts) and quickboot doesn't load it at startup either even though I editted the launch.ini file to the freestyle folder for default. Checked my path about a thousand times, everything is spot on. I have tried putting freestyle on root of HDD1:\ and also as Hdd1:\Contents\FreeStyleDash\FreeStyleDash.xex\ and I put my quickboot container at HDD1:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00007000 (also tried it in 00008000 and directly in C0DE9999) I have tried every possible setup I can think of and matched quickboot container to the path every time. I am on kinect 12611 dash, xenon board using NAND-X with the QSB JTAG kit. CPU key, 8955, freeboot/12611 went all perfect. got XEXmenu going without a hitch. but now I have followed a half a dozen different tutorials on freestyle and dashlaunch along with just trying different locations on my own and this is driving me nuts. just to reiterate, Quickboot container shows up fine, in HDD1:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00007000\ and tried freestyle in Hdd1:\ and in Hdd1:\Contents\FreeStyleDash\FreeStyleDash.xex\ and neither work but freestyle works fine if I go into XEXmenu and click on the executable file directly.
why do you need a quickboot for FSD? just add the path to the launch.ini for dashlaunch and it will autoboot into regardless if the console is just being turned on, or you are 'returning to dashboard' from a game/movie ect.
Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME
ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

thats the problem, I can't get it to work using dashlaunch in the launch.ini so I was trying to at least get it working through quickboot so i didnt have to go through xexmenu every time. It is driving me nuts, everything has had no problems until I got to this. I don't understand it, it is pretty simple process, it just will not work and I cannot figure out what the heck is wrong.
