straight answer please, im on firmware 1.61 and 2.0.8955.0 dashboard i never play online so im only interested playing offline.the newest game ive played is fable 3 which works fine using activation disk.so basically all i want to know is with wave 10 and higher games will they work on my firmware and can i wavepatch them to wave 3 and will they work.

i know the easiest is to upgrade to lt+ but unfortunatley i cant do this myself and theres no one near me who can so please dont just reply saying upgrade.

just a thought lets say u wave patch dragon age 2 which is wave 11 to wave 3 will the game still ask u to upgrade dashboard? and will it boot up?

Bump!
I'd like to know as well. I'm on 1.4 and have been wave patching for awhile until most of the games came out on PS3 and I just got them for that instead. I just tried wave patching to wave 2 for portal 2 and it gave me the system update required and I'm on 2.0.12416.0 dash. I might try wave 3 instead but have a feeling it will still ask for the update. Anyone know a workaround other than reflash?

just update your firmware guys and u will have no more worries on the new games coming out at the moment
