He's charging quite a bit for it to be done. However, it's because he has this machine. My 360 was towel tricked (probably why it was sold to me for only $20). Anyways, he said he has the same machine this guy in this youtube video is using. Will it work for me?

PS. I would send it back to microsoft but i'm afraid that they will send me back a refurb unhackable console, and I already have one of those that I use to play on live with. I want this one to play single player games with.

Don't do any of those stupd repairs. X-clamp fix may work for a month, towel trick is stupd and ruins internal components. If you really want it done right, PM me for reflowing.

well, the person i'm planning to see has that specific reflow/reball machine. So i'd prefer to go to him, since he's local. I just wanna know if that machine he's using is actually any good.

What does re-flowing do? I did the x-clamp fix and has lasted much longer than a month, been 3 -4 months now at least, playing about 2 hours a day.

I don't remember exactly what a reflow is but it's a REALLY good fix for the 360, if you can reball, that's even better. They pretty much make the 360 good as new. It's the best way to get your 360 fixed.
Now please, if anyone can answer my question about how good that particular machine is, that would be greatly appreciated.

I give the machine an 8/10. Mainly because it doesn't do all the work for you.

from what i can see it looks very good but at $7999 it should be.
he must at least be rich or good at what he does.
reflowing or reballing from my understanding essentially reforms the solder so instead of having dry solder joints(which are a solder joint which is not very conductive or high resistance)you gpu and cpu
chips are soldered properly.
